It has always amazed me the legs this project has. I still meet people that flip when they find out I was involved. They always have a lot of questions. It's obvious "Aliens" has a big underground following. Just last January I was checking out the NAMM show in LA and passed a booth where a guy was using "Hot Sauce" to demo his music editing software. There is a sense of humor and fun side to Thomas which really came out on this CD and Bill Botrell's production skills helped make it sound exceptional.

It wasn't a big category (Best Instrumental Accompanying a Vocal) but it was great fun hanging at the Grammies and the party afterwards. It was cool of Thomas to make sure we were all included because "Ferrari" was the one song that didn't change much from the first time we played it during an audition. I'm not sure but the way I played "Ferrari" might have been the reason I got the gig. By the way, some hack named Henry Mancini won the Grammy.
